The Islamic Corporate Governance Initiative aims to align institutional existence and activities with an Islamic understanding, considering them as form of worship. By integrating faith into our work, we connect our beliefs with our actions, leading to a meaningful life.
Through the Islamic Corporate Governance Initiative, institutions are shaped and guided from a shariah based understanding. At Qist Initiative, we assist organisations in developing Islamic corporate governance frameworks to enhance decision making, risk management, accountability, daily operations, and overall impact and value. To achieve this, Qist Initiative offers a range of standards, tools and mechanisms to support the implementation of Islamic corporate governance, addressing the specific needs of organisations.
Our aim is to create an environment that encourages the adoption of Islamic corporate governance practices in organisations, promoting an Islamic approach to conducting business. Additionally, within the Islamic Corporate Governance Initiative, we provide publications, training and certification opportunities.
