In today’s context, theory development remains fragmented and lacks an integrated approach that spans across various disciplines and dimensions of life. Addressing the limitations of constructing global theory involves adopting an expansive multidimensional perspective from an Islamic starting point.
Qist initiative promotes the expansion of shariah by developing a unique logic through fundamental structures, frameworks, tools and processes to support methodologically Muslim scholarship, research, institutions and shariah based initiatives in constituting knowledge. This endeavour contributes to removing injustices, transforming practice, and advancing equitable welfare.
Qist Initiative is dedicated to operationalising such understanding through seeking excellence in research. We focus on exploring the intersections of shariah with reality, through the development of constitutional, legislative, regulative, procedural, normative and evaluative tools, supporting the adoption of shariah across sectors and disciplines.
