Learning Experiences
Given the current challenges in education, including imposed values and inconsistent theories, the Learning Experiences Initiative responds to what is necessary to transform the context of education and its value chain. The main objective of this initiative is to bridge the gap and inconsistencies between the five dimensions of education governance, education management, content, delivery, and learning experiences.
Through the Learning Experiences Initiative, our goal is to reshape learning and scholarship through the Islamic logic. We aim to restore their essential functions as spaces of spiritual realisation through education, whereby the learning experience becomes a form of worship itself.
The fulfilment of the Islamic purpose, centred on worshipping Allah through who we are, is operationalised in our pursuit of beneficial knowledge and meaningful work. In reshaping the acquisition of knowledge, the initiative considers the educational landscape, aiming to exceed the confinements of formal institutions to broaden the scope of scholarship, through a holistic learning experience, covering all aspects of one’s life.
Qist Initiative envisions a holistic approach to education, fostering a rich learning environment. By combining online platforms and curriculum development, we aim to address educational gaps and contribute to a positive and empowering narrative.
